Membership

Members of ASLIA (WA) represent a wide cross section of practitioners, including Auslan interpreters who hold NAATI qualifications as Paraprofessionals (formerly known as Level 2), or Interpreters (formerly known as Level 3); Relay interpreters (Deaf people with specialised skills in interpreting) and non-accredited practitioners who may be undergoing training, or developing skills in the field. ASLIA (WA) strives to develop relationships with key stakeholders, therefore we encourage people interested in the industry of Auslan interpreting to join in support of the profession, including members of the Deaf community and service providers.
